Voice of India: Toshi is Out !!!

This was probably one of the most shocking episodes on Voice of India. Never ever would anyone have imagined that Toshi (of all the contestents!!!) would get eliminated at such an early stage.Toshi had a evry earthly voice, very different from the rest of the participents. That is what made him unique and suitable for sufi stye songs. His early exit from voice of india will always be a shock to all his admirers.This episode also saw the best of the singer in the danger zone. Imagine Harshit, Abhas, Toshi and Abhilasha in Danger zone!!!! Unbelievable!! I hope Toshi gets more chances to sing under different Music Directors and I hope this platform has opened many gates for him.

1st September:
1st September's show had some memoranble numbers from kunal Ganjawala. The Singers who left the maximum Impact on the show were Harshit, Ishmit, Sumitra and Abhilasha.

Abhas was at his worst!!! very unlike what we have heard and taken for granted about him. Mirande was good. So was Irfan. And the day saw the last of Toshi on VOI.


2nd September:
2nd September had the Chuck De team as the special Invities. The entire crew of Chuck De was present. It was a very memorable show.

Harshit :
Harshit sang really well. He has a very good control over his voice. plus his charm seems to have bowled all the women folk. mitwa.. sun mitwa tujhko kya dar hai re... I am sure nobody can beat this performance... The harkat he takes, the sur, the hold, the emotions that he brings out are just out of the world. Listen to his song here

Sumitra was at her best with the peppy number Mukkala Mukabala laila. I think she fits the bil for all sorts of peppy high pitched numbers. I think we have got our next hippi singer. Listen to her at:

Abhilasha, Mirande, Ishmit also sang well.
I am not a very big fan of Priyani. Her performance on this show was not very pleasing. I feel her voice is not very sweet. Such a voice is also required, but my heart will not go with such a voice. You can hear her at:
