Movies that I watched recently

Kidnap:
Saw this movie with okey dokey expection (after going through) the review and still was disappointed.
The single most reason why I was disappointed was that this was a duplicate of Zinda with the same Protagonist. Only the villan changes. What a pity.
I had adored Zinda for its story (probably it is a copy of a korean movie but who cares I had not seen the korean movie). But Once we have seen a similar movie we cannot watch another movie which is so similar to the other.

My rating : * *

Drona:
What do I say. Zzzzz Zzzzz
Halfway through the movie I got so bored that I dozed of and I had to be woken up couple of times...
How on earth can I imagine Abhishek as a Superhero !!! No Way.
And above all the story was simply boring. After a point it started to look ridiculous and the ending was very damp.

My Rating : * *

Subprime Crisis made simple: Tutorial on the Mess

I have been reading about the subprime crisis on various websites and newspapers.
But the Best explanation of the whole fiasco, by far, is exlained in the below blog.

The whole mess is explained in a very simple and detailed fashion in the following links:

Frederick Forsyth: The Negotiator

I could not find much about The Negotiator on the internet. So I did not have any opinions/bias when I started to read The Negotiator.
This was my fifth Frederick Forsyth.
I would say that I was neither dissapointed nor ecstatic reading the novel.
The first half of the novel was gripping and kept me on the edge. But half way through the plot falls flat on the belly. This was a bit of dissapointment. By the end of the novel, it turned out to be like any other story of betrayal by a close aide.

Best Part of the Novel:
The first half where the stage is set for an exciting finish

Worst part of the novel:
The ending. When I put down the novel I did not feel the saddness of the end of the novel, the way I felt when I finishes the fist of God and the Fourth Protocol.

Brief from the back of the novel:
I quote
In the 1990s, the growing world shortage of oil and the imminent ratification of the Nantucket arms reduction treaty, cause two right-wing factions in America to prepare ruthless plan to force the President of the United States out of office. If it succeeds, the president will be psychologically and enotionally destroyed - and the superpowers on the brink of war.

A hostage is taken, and his release is negotiated-by foremost anti-terrorist expert, Quinn. With success in the grasp, events take a new and dangerous turn, putting Quinn-and the world-into mortal danger. Now he must use all his experience to find the traitor, whose position of power threatens the safety of civilisation...

Humpty Dumpty Sat On a Wall

If you thought Humpty Dumpty who sat on a wall and fell down was an egg then you are sadly mistaken.
Humpty Dumpty was actually a giant cannon which was used during the civil war of 1642-1651.
In Sam FOster's book "hey Diddle diddle" he claims that the cannon which was present on the church in Colchester fell down during a seige.

No Wonder the following lines never made sense to me when i tried to relate it to an EGG !!!
all the kings horses and all the kings men
couldnt put humpty together again

(why should kings men try to put an egg together !!!!)

The book further claims that the song baa! baa! black sheep rhyme was a satire on King Edward for collecting wool tax. the rhyme divides the wool into 3 parts and one part was to the master(the king) and the 2nd to the dame (the church) and the 3rd to the little boy (people)
